Hello, fellow feline enthusiasts! I'm Kristin, the heart and soul behind de Empurr'Dune.US. Together with my father, Dennis, who plays an integral role in our cattery team, we invite you to embark on a journey into the world of Maine Coons like never before.
For us, breeding these majestic creatures goes beyond a passion; it's a familial bond strengthened by a shared love for these regal beings. A Multi-Registered Cattery
We are registered in many cat fancier associations; TICA, CFA and PCC. We are active at several shows both internationally and locally through The Internation Cat Assocation (TICA) and Panama Cat Club (PCC). At Panama Cat Club's 5th Year Anniversary Exhibition held on March 28th 2024 we are honored to have won a title and cup!

What's in a name?

"Empurr," inspired by the grandeur of Emperors, pays homage to my esteemed mentor, Nile Goddess, CZ. She embodies the regality of the ancient Egyptian Goddess Baset, and in this fusion, we find the heartbeat of de Empurr'Dune.US. The subtle modification to include "purr" evokes the gentle sound of a kitten's contentment, infusing warmth and playfulness into our cattery.
And then, there's "Dune" – a whisper from the sands of my childhood, echoing the timeless sci-fi saga by Frank Herbert. It's not just a name; it's a nod to a world of imagination, resilience, and untold adventures.

Embarking on an Unforgettable Journey: My Mentorship with Jolana
As I reflect on the journey that has led me to where I am today, one pivotal moment stands out above all others: the day I met Jolana. Little did I know that this encounter would mark the beginning of an extraordinary mentorship and shape the trajectory of my breeding program in ways I could have never imagined.
It all started with a shared passion – a love for Maine Coon cats. I had long been captivated by their majestic presence and gentle demeanor, but it wasn't until I crossed paths with Jolana that my aspirations of becoming a breeder truly began to take shape.
Jolana, a seasoned expert in the world of Maine Coon breeding, exuded a wealth of knowledge and experience that seemed boundless. From the moment we met, I was drawn to her warmth, her dedication to the breed, and her unwavering commitment to excellence. It was clear that she possessed the wisdom and insight I yearned to learn from.
Our mentorship unfolded organically, with Jolana graciously opening her home and her heart to me. I had the incredible opportunity to immerse myself in her world – to witness firsthand the inner workings of her cattery, to learn the intricacies of breeding and genetics, and to forge deep connections with her beloved cats.
Living alongside Jolana was nothing short of exhilarating. Each day brought new lessons, new challenges, and new discoveries. From the early morning feedings to the late-night cuddle sessions, I embraced every moment with an eager spirit and a thirst for knowledge.

Having had the privilege of living, learning, and collaborating at Nile Goddess, CZ Maine Coon Cattery in Bilovec, Czech Republic, on multiple occasions, I am proud to now call Jolana Pišová not only my mentor, but now my cherished friend. My gratitude towards her is immeasurable, as without her, our dream would not be a reality. Her guidance has played an invaluable role in shaping the vision and success of our cattery.
